Summary of Changes from Previous Version

October 2024 - The Course and Subject Policy suite has undergone a full review. The procedures were approved on 3 October 2024 under delegation A11.



Changes include:


- Maximum course completion time changed to 10 years for all courses, subject to other academic progress requirements.


-  The provision for compulsory intensive schools has been extended to all subjects.

-  High-level course structure rules have been retained and the Curriculum Architecture Principles are referred to for other details.


- revised to improve readability, with new parts, headings and reordering/restructuring of content. Retitled to better reflect content and to improve discoverability in the policy library.

- requirements for learning activities involving animals have been moved here from the Course and Subject – Conscientious Objection Procedure,


- the graduate attributes have been moved to policy,
