Academic Senate - Standing Committee of Curriculum, Learning and Teaching Committee

Section 1 - Membership

(1) The Standing Committee of the Curriculum, Learning and Teaching Committee (CLTC) shall comprise:

  1. Members:
    1. Presiding Officer, CLTC
    2. Pro Vice-Chancellor (Learning and Teaching)
    3. two members of the CLTC
  2. Audience and Debate:
    1. Deputy Director Governance and Academic Secretary.

(2) The Deputy Director Governance and Academic Secretary shall seek nominations for the CLTC member of the Standing Committee of the CLTC.

Section 2 - Terms of Reference

(3) The Standing Committee of the Curriculum, Learning and Teaching Committee shall:

  1. meet to decide urgent matters which arise between meetings of the CLTC and when it is not convenient to call a full meeting of the CLTC;
  2. make determinations in accordance with the policies laid down by the Academic Senate; and
  3. provide decisions of the meetings of the Standing Committee to the next scheduled meeting of the CLTC for noting.
