Summary of Changes from Previous Version

November 2024 – Guidelines are expired, and relevant provisions moved to Part C of the Course and Subject Procedure - Delivery Management.


Editorial changes in accordance with GOV10B: updated provisions for admission and communication plans to refer to the new Admissions Policy and Admissions Procedure. A copy of the document prior to these changes has been saved to the University records management system.  


October 2019 - the Unit Head field has been updated from the University Secretary and Director, Governance and Corporate Affairs to the University Secretary, to align with current structure.


This is the first version of this Policy, approved under the authority of the Academic Senate (AS15/145). The Academic Communication - Communicating With Students in Correctional Facilities Guidelines replaces the Communicating with Students in Correctional Centres Guidelines.
