Summary of Changes from Previous Version
June 2022 - Partial review completed to achieve stronger alignment with the Job-ready Graduates legislation (student protections), improve alignment with HESF 2021 and ESOS National Code, and to better support students with ongoing disabilities and long-term health conditions. Approved in accordance with delegation A11 (authority to approve academic policies), resolution ASSC 22/16 Material changes to the policy are: - removing key subject requirements for the purpose of monitoring academic progress - removing the provision for students to remain at an academic progress stage if they change courses - introducing provision to exclude students who have not maintained academic progress for one year from any course - allowing a student’s existing study access plan to be used as evidence where special consideration is required for an exacerbation of an existing condition that is covered by the plan.
