June 2021 - Changes approved by Academic Senate under delegation GOV9, resolution AS170/6, change to processes for identifying and supporting students whose academic progress is unsatisfactory, and updates to refer appeals to the University Student Appeals Policy. Position and organisational units updated to reflect new organisational structures. January 2021 - Division name changed from Research Office to Office of Research Services and Graduate Studies. December 2020 - Minor change to academic progress appeals provision, improve consistency with delegations. Approved in accordance with the special conditions of GOV9. December 2020 – Editorial changes in accordance with GOV10B, references to Director, Research updated to Dean, Graduate Studies. October 2020 - Editorial changes in accordance with GOV10B to clarify and update position titles at clauses 103d and 132. A copy of the document prior to this change has been captured in the University’s record management system. July 2020 - The Assessment Policy is an output of the academic governance review project. This policy was approved by Academic Senate at its meeting on 6 May 2020 (resolution AS164/8) in accordance with delegation schedule 1 GOV 9, to take effect from 1 November 2020.
