Summary of Changes from Previous Version

October 2019 - all references to the Academic Secretary position have been updated to the University Secretary or their delegate, to align with current structure.


Amendments as approved by the Academic Senate on 7 March 2018 (AS 18/11) include clause 8 the position of Sub-Dean (Academic) to be added to the Faculty of Arts and Education Faculty Courses Committee. Amendments to clause 10, as approved by the Academic Senate on 12 September 2018 (AS/117) to align the functions of the Faculty Courses Committees with the recommendations of the Winchester Review, pending establishment and operations of the University Courses Committee and University Learning and Teaching Committee and clause 10c. to read "ensure that courses and subjects considered by the committee, for recommendation for approval by the Curriculum, Learning and Teaching Committee of the Academic Senate, are consistent with the official, advertised content of these courses and subjects published in the University Handbooks, CASIMS and other official publications and systems.".
