                    Section 1 - Faculty Learning and Teaching Committee
Part A - Membership
(1)  Members include:
	- Sub-Dean, Learning and Teaching (Chair); and
 
	- chairs of School Learning and Teaching Committees.
 
(2)  Each School to nominate an alternative member should the nominated member be unable to attend:
	- Educational Designer representative;
 
	- Study Centre representative; and
 
	- Academic Support/Dean of Students representative.
 
(3)  Members are to serve an initial term of two years.
Part B - Terms of Reference
(4)  The Committee will:
	- act as a link between the University's Curriculum, Learning and Teaching Committee and the School's Learning and Teaching Committees;
 
	- provide advice to the Faculty's senior management and Faculty Board
 
	- act as a forum to discuss and disseminate learning and teaching issues of relevance to the Faculty and its staff;
 
	- facilitate the dissemination of information regarding learning and teaching issues throughout the Faculty and may be called upon to provide Faculty responses to emerging learning and teaching issues; and
 
	- facilitate the enhancement of the quality of learning and teaching in the Faculty of Business, Justice and Behavioural Sciences.
 
Part C - Meeting Times
(5)  The Committee will meet regularly, generally by videoconference, with additional meetings if required by teleconference.
(6)  Secretarial support to be provided by the Faculty Office.
