Fee Distribution Guidelines Overseas Full Fee Paying Students Studying Face to Face

Section 1 - Purpose

(1) These Guidelines set out how fees paid by full fee paying overseas students (FFPOS) on-shore at Charles Sturt University (the University) will be distributed.

Section 5 - Guidelines

(5) Fees paid by full fee paying overseas students on-shore at Charles Sturt University will be collected by the Division of Financial Services and be distributed as follows:

  1. Undergraduate Courses including Post Graduate Diplomas
    1. 40% - to the Faculties in accordance with the FFPOS load on each Faculty. This payment will be to cover direct teaching costs.
    2. 20% - to the University Development Fund to be used for capital development as required by DEET. This amount will be allocated according to the FFPOS load at each campus.
    3. 5% - to the administrative Divisions to enhance the level of support provided to overseas students.
    4. 5% - to the Division of Library Services to be allocated to the University's libraries according to the FFPOS load at each campus.
    5. 5% - to the Division of Information Technology to be used to support academic computing and to be allocated according to the FFPOS load at each campus.
    6. 5% - to the University Research Management Committee.
    7. 5% - to the International Office.
  2. Higher Degree Courses
    1. The differential between the fees for higher degree courses and the fees for less than the higher degree courses in the same discipline shall be distributed as follows:
      • 65% - to the Faculties in accordance with the FFPOS load on each Faculty;
      • 15% - to the Division of Library Services
      • 15% - to the University Development Fund; and
      • 5% - to the Division of Information Technology for academic computing.
