Section 1 - Acceptable Tests for English Language Proficiency

(1) The list of acceptable tests for English language proficiency that Charles Sturt University (the University) will recognize for admission purposes is detailed on the Division of Student Administration, English language requirements web page.

(2) Refer also to Clause 65-66 of the Admission Regulations .

Section 2 - Approval and Review of Acceptable Tests for English Language Proficiency

(3) All requests for the approval or review of English language proficiency tests or providers are to be referred to the International Operations Committee (IOC) (refer to clause 28e and f of the Admission Regulations).

(4) The Admissions Team, Division of Student Administration shall, on behalf of the International Operations Committee research and analyse all proposals to add a test for English language proficiency to the list of acceptable tests before the IOC approves them.

Section 3 - Annual Report to Academic Senate

(5) The IOC shall provide to the Academic Senate, annually, the current list of Acceptable Tests for English Language Proficiency.
