Summary of Changes from Previous Version

This is the first version of this document to be published in the CSU Policy Library. For all intents and purposes, this version is reflective of the existing version that was published in the relevant manual (academic or administration) at the time the CSU Policy Library was launched. The document has been subjected to reformatting, including the application of a new numbering system and title.

The following information details the history of changes to the document prior to its publication via the CSU Policy Library:

This document replaces the Charter of Corporate Governance.

15 December 2011 - Revisions to the Charter to include specific functions of the Academic Senate; expand the governance principles of the University; modify the strategy development processes; update some references to committees and offices; incorporate provisions in relation to succession planning and composition.

27 July 2012 – CNL 12/71 - Insertion of new clause 43A.

27 September 2012 – CNL 12/85 - Revisions to clause 23 of Charter to insert new Key Personal Attributes of Council members.

27 September 2012 (uncommenced) – CNL 12/86 - Revisions to the Charter to include Council Honorarium and other incidental amendments as necessary.

23 May 2013 – CNL 13/87 - Revisions to Charter to reflect University Strategy 2013-2015 and current committees.

5 December 2013 – CNL 13/ - Revision to clause 53 to maintain the Governance (Council Allowance) Rule in certain circumstances, deletion of Clause 63 Payment of expenses to sit on Advisory Boards, deletion of Clause 68 Members may elect not to accept remuneration to remove duplication with other provisions of the Charter, and associated renumbering.
