Summary of Changes from Previous Version

January 2022 – This document is rescinded from 28 January 2022. It is replaced by the Facilities and Premises Policy and Facilities and Premises Procedure - Access, Use and Security.

The Unit Head field has been updated from the Executive Director, Human Resources to the Director, Culture, Capability and Wellbeing, to align with current structure.

This is the first version of this document to be published in the CSU Policy Library. For all intents and purposes, this version is reflective of the existing version that was published in the relevant manual (academic or administration) at the time the CSU Policy Library was launched. The document has been subjected to reformatting, including the application of a new numbering system and title.

The following information details the history of changes to the document prior to its publication via the CSU Policy Library:

15/8/2005 - Sub clauses 4.5 and 4.6 added due to removal of procedure from the policy. Procedure extracted from the policy and contained in a separate document.

2/8/2013 - Change in title of authority. Legislation updated. 2.2 expanded to include co-existence of regulations. 4.2 amended to indicate expectation that staff and students will explore alternatives before bringing children into the work or teaching areas of the University. 4.5 addition referring parents/carers to the Procedure for Bringing Children on Campus. Deletion of 4.6 - reference to facilities for children on campus.
