Summary of Changes from Previous Version

March 2023 - Edits to provisions for extensions to due date; automatic approval of seven-day extensions. Submitted for approval under delegation A11 (authority to approve academic procedures).

 


June 2022 - Minor changes approved in accordance with delegation A11 (authority to approve academic procedures):

- study access plans now allowed as evidence for special consideration by students with a disability or condition 

- amended processes for applying for reasonable adjustments and alternative exam arrangements

- new timeframes for deferred exams 

- reordering of some clauses and removing some duplication)

- updated terminology for intensive schools.


August 2021 - Change to clause 20b, approved in accordance with GOV9A.


Nov 2020 - This is the first version of the Assessment Flexibility Procedure, and has been developed as part of the academic governance review project to support the Assessment Policy. This procedure was approved in accordance with delegation schedule 1 GOV9A.
