Summary of Changes from Previous Version

May 2022 - Editorial change to the definition of contract cheating, for clarification and alignment with TEQSA definitions. Approved in accordance with delegation A13.


August 2021 – Minor changes made to reflect changes to University structure and the University Student Appeals process, approved under delegation GOV5. Changes include:


- References to appeals and appeals committee removed from clauses: 6, 9, 10, 13, 56c (previously 57c), 87 (previously 88), previous clauses 102-122 removed, 102 (previously 123), 104 (previously 126), 105 (previously 126)


- Clause 52 removed Example removed from clause 83b (previously 84b)


- Organisational unit titles updated in clauses 90-91 (previously 91-92)


- New clause 101


- Referencing text updated to new clause numbering throughout.


 


April 2021 - Minor changes to position titles throughout and clause 56 removed, to reflect organisational structure changes in accordance with delegation GOV5. Editorial changes to referencing text in accordance with GOV10B.


January 2021 – Minor changes made to clauses 13o, 13ay, 21u and 125 to reflect changes to organisational structure or systems, approved in accordance with GOV5.


July 2020 – Editorial amendment to update references from the Research Misconduct Policy to the Research Policy, approved in accordance with GOV10B.


February 2020 – Minor amendment to clause 106 to align with legislative requirements, approved in accordance with GOV5. Editorial amendments have been made to referencing text at clause 85 and to clarify wording at clause 106, in accordance with GOV10B. 


January 2020 – The Student Misconduct Rule 2020 is a major revision of the Student Misconduct Rule 2018. It has been approved by the Vice-Chancellor in accordance with Part 6 of the Charles Sturt University By-law 2005 and delegation schedule 1 GOV 5.
