Summary of Changes from Previous Version

July 2023 - minor changes approved under delegation A12 


- clause 8 - provision that, where the appellant student has new evidence, they may be asked to go via the original decision making process rather than an appeal.


- clause 27b - a provision that an appellant student cannot send a representative to a hearing in their place.


 


June 2023: minor changes approved under delegation A12:


- Grounds for appeal added to policy (previously only stated in procedure) to give context to new provisions.


- Limitations provisions added, for clarification of matters/circumstances where an appeal will not be accepted


- Addition/clarification for when a student's enrolment may be suspended during appeals process, in compliance with ESOS/National Code.


 


March 2022 - Editorial change to clarify the scope of the policy, approved in accordance with delegation A13.

 


May 2021 - This is the first version of the University Student Appeals Policy to be published. Approved in accordance with delegation GOV7, resolution CNL 160/12. Editorial changes to clarify terms and updates to titles in accordance with GOV10B.
