Summary of Changes from Previous Version

October 2021 – This Rule is rescinded under resolution CNL 170/14 and replaced by the Governance (Honorary Awards and Titles) Rule 2021.

October 2019 - the Unit Head field has been updated from the University Secretary and Director, Governance and Corporate Affairs to the University Secretary, to align with current structure.

Amendments as approved by the University Council on 8 December 2017 (CNL17/101) include, insertion of clause 6 to maintain consistency across Governance Rules; insertion of clause 10 to reflect current process; amendment of clause 12 to reflect current process; updating of the reference to University Governance Charter in clause 16; and various administrative amendments throughout.
