Summary of Changes from Previous Version

January 2026 – Editorial change for clarification approved under delegation A9; short title references to the National Higher Education Code to Prevent and Respond to Gender-based Violence 2025 removed in response to user feedback. A copy of the policy prior to these changes has been saved to the University’s records management system.

December 2025 - The Gender-based Violence Prevention and Response Policy subsumes and replaces the Sexual Harm Prevention and Response Policy and Domestic and Family Violence Support Policy. It is approved under delegations A4, A8, and the provisions for urgent policy approvals under the Policy Framework Policy.
