Summary of Changes from Previous Version

October 2021 – This Rule is rescinded under resolution CNL 170/14 and replaced by the Governance (Honorary Awards and Titles) Rule 2021.


October 2019 - the Unit Head field has been updated from the University Secretary and Director, Governance and Corporate Affairs to the University Secretary, to align with current structure.


November 2018 - all references to the 'Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic)' position and division updated to 'Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic)', to align with current structure.


Following full review of the Rule, amendments were approved by the University Council at its meeting on 14-15 June 2018 (CNL 18/57) this resulted in changes to the majority of the clauses and in some cases removal and/or consolidation of clauses.
