Summary of Changes from Previous Version

June 2024 – Editorial change under delegation A13 to clause 28; reference to casual academic updated to reflect current terminology. A copy of the document prior to this change is captured in the University record management system.


August 2021 - Minor change to add ‘First Nations’ to the glossary and an explanatory note for the use of ‘First Nations’ and ‘Indigenous Australians’ in curriculum development. Approved in accordance with GOV9. 


April 2021 - Minor change to procedure clause 34 for consistency with the policy, Course and Subject Policy and Indigenous Board of Studies Membership and Terms of Reference. Approved under GOV9A.


October 2020 - This policy has been reviewed as part of the academic governance review project. It was approved by Academic Senate under resolution AS165/10 and will take effect on 1 November 2020.
