Summary of Changes from Previous Version

December 2020 – This policy has been rescinded and is replaced by the Assessment - Academic Progress Procedure.

October 2020 – This document will expire on 31 December 2020, under Academic Senate resolution AS164/8. This policy will be replaced by the Assessment – Academic Progress Procedure that will take effect on 1 January 2021.

Editorial changes in accordance with GOV10B to: provisions for readmission after termination to refer to the new Admissions Procedure; and updated language used in some clauses to align with Communicating without Bias Guidelines. A copy of the document prior to these changes has been saved to the University records management system.

October 2019 - the Unit Head field has been updated from the University Secretary and Director, Governance and Corporate Affairs to the University Secretary, to align with current structure.

August 2019 – Editorial amendments to correct references made in accordance with Delegation GOV10B.
