April 2022 – Minor changes to introduce two new forms of parental leave, available from 1 January 2022. Approved in accordance with delegation A12 (authority to approve management procedures)


March 2022 - Minor changes (re Policy Framework Policy 24biv) to parental leave required to maintain our certification under the Workplace Gender Equality Agency Employer of Choice for Gender Equity program, the University needs to introduce two new forms of parental leave, available from 1 January 2022: • 8 weeks leave for employees who do not meet the existing qualifying period (Primary Carer Parental Leave B); and • 4 weeks leave for secondary carers (Partner Leave). Submitted for approval in accordance with delegation A12 (authority to approve management procedures).
