Summary of Changes from Previous Version

October 2019 - the Unit Head field has been updated from the University Secretary and Director, Governance and Corporate Affairs to the University Secretary, to align with current structure.


April 2019 – Administrative amendments were made in accordance with Schedule 1, delegation GOV 10B. References to the following Misconduct document has been replaced with the Student Misconduct Rule 2018 that came into effect on 4 March 2019 and as of that date superseded and revoked any previous rules, policies or procedures of the University relating to student misconduct:

- Misconduct – Student General Misconduct Rule (expired 3 March 2019, subject to clause 139 of the Student Misconduct Rule 2018)


April 2019 – administrative amendment to update the University Ombudsman telephone number to the current number. This amendment was an administrative amendment as approved by the University Secretary under Delegation GOV10B.

Amendments, as approved by the Vice-Chancellor, include adjustment of nomenclature in addressing institutional changes to reflect the statutory changes associated with the revised Privacy Act (Cth) and align to the Australian Privacy Principles (Commonwealth) as well as the Information Protection Principles (NSW).
