Summary of Changes from Previous Version

29 March 2019 - Amended Schedule 9 – Academic and Course Delegations, as approved by the Council on 27 February, 2019 under resolution CNL 19/20. Administrative amendments were also made in accordance with delegation Schedule 1, GOV10B to reference the current policy documents.

7 February 2019 – Administrative amendments were made to Schedule 1 – Strategy and Policy Delegations in accordance with delegation GOV10B, to align Schedule 1 with the version approved by University Council CNL 18/107.

6 February 2019 – Administrative amendments were made to Schedule 4 – Human Resources Delegations in accordance with delegation GOV10B, to align Schedule 4 with the version approved by University Council CNL 18/107.

Amendments as approved by the Council on 14 December 2018 (CNL 18/107) relate to the glossary and the delegation bands. The definitions of Executive Staff and Senior Staff are not used in any schedules other than Schedule 4 – Human Resource Delegations. These have been amended to better reflect the responsibilities of staff, with Primary Budget Centre Managers grouped into the Executive Staff category and Secondary Centre Budget Managers grouped into Senior Staff. The Council also approved amendments to Schedule 1 – Strategy and Policy Delegations which relate to approval authorities for policy and procedures, as well as repealing delegations that are operational in nature.
