Summary of Changes from Previous Version
December 2015 - Policy revised and updated in consultation with University staff (via What's New notice). Amendments as follows:
1. that same day meal reimbursement be removed from the travel policy,
2. that domestic meal allowances be capped and only move once they are 75% of the ATO rates,
3. that Executive Meal rates be removed and a single scale of allowances apply,
4. that only the allowance system apply, that the administration associated with reimbursement based on actual cost does not justify the savings,
5. that international rates be reduced to 75% of the ATO rates - to apply once new policy takes affect,
6. that restrictions apply to entitlement to business class travel and for entitlement to lounge memberships,
7. and several other changes relating to better arrangements be sought for accommodation in campus cities and reducing the number of fleet vehicles.
