Summary of Changes from Previous Version

April 2023 - The Intellectual Property Policy has undergone a full review and is approved as per delegation A8, resolution CNL 183/5. The revised policy is intended to facilitate utilisation, reward staff and students as inventors, and remove barriers for industry in collaborating with the University. Matters of ownership of IP for staff and students have not substantially changed, however, more detail has been included on when students might be asked to assign their IP, and expert advice in relation to Indigenous Cultural IP has been incorporated.
