March 2020 “Division of Human Resources changed to Division of People and Culture”. The Unit Head field has been updated from the Executive Director, Human Resources to the Director, HR Partnerships, to align with current structure. This is the first version of this document to be published in the CSU Policy Library. For all intents and purposes, this version is reflective of the existing version that was published in the relevant manual (academic or administration) at the time the CSU Policy Library was launched. 29/8/2006 - Sub-clause 6.4 - advertising on HR’s web page added.
30/8/2007 - Sub-clause 4.6 - replaced “Standing Committee of Council” with “Vice-Chancellor”. Sub-clause 6.2 - advertising schedule now discretionary rather than compulsory. Sub-clause 6.3 - amended to reflect greater use of web-based recruitment. Sub-clause 11.1 - amended to reflect appointment on the basis of relative merit.
